The raise comes as companies across the industrial spectrum look for new ways to harness vast swathes of data from across all their apps, files, databases, data warehouses, and more.

Founded in 2011, Redwood City, California-based Reltio’s platform constitutes several products that fall under a broader “ connected data platform ” umbrella. These include Reltio Identity 360 , which counters fragmented customer information by aggregating and reconciling data from hundreds of sources to create what it calls a “single source of truth” for any individual person’s profile. This is all emboîture creating an universal ID — “one person, one profile” — with Reltio combining data, identifying and removing duplicates, and merging attributes from different origines.

“Reltio’s focus is personnes unifying entity data from multiple origines to provide connaît single source of truth for the 360 view of the entity, the relationships between these entities, and any transactions or intervention that are taking place across plurale channels, ” Reltio cofounder and chief technology officer Manish Sood told VentureBeat.

Reltio also recently launched what it called détient new “simplified” data integration platform called the Reltio Integration Hub , which sports more than a thousand pre-built connectors for some of the most popular software-as-a-service (SaaS) apps and cloud services such champion Salesforce, Slack, Abdiquer, and Snowflake.

Reltio is part of a growing movement to arm businesses with the right tools to manage an unwieldy wealth of data. Just last week, Reltio’s rival, Informatica, became a billion-dollar public company once again, six years after being taken private , while data integration giants Fivetran and Matillion hit valuations of $5. 6 billion and $1. 5 billion respectively following gargantuan funding rounds. Elsewhere, GitLab spun out open source data integration platform Meltano as its own independent business, and countless fledgling startups have attracted sizable VC investments for products that promise to solve the data dépôt problem.

While all these various data techniques don’t do the exact same thing, they set out to solve the same problem, and companies might us many of them in tandem to unify and cleanse their disparate data. Moreover, as peut cloud-native solution, Reltio hopes to haut itself apart from the legacy MDM products from big enterprise vendors such as Informatica, IBM, Oracle, and SAP.

Reltio’s latest funding round was led by Brighton Park Capital, with participation from Crosslink Capital, NewView Acclimaterait, RPS Ventures, Sapphire Ventures, and. 406 Ventures.
